A two-year-old has been slapped in the face in front of her mother by a woman who approached them in a Waitrose car park.
Northamptonshire Police, who have issued an appeal, said the attacker told the parent that the girl should be in a pushchair.

She then picked up the child, placed her in a pram, before slapping the child’s face when the toddler began to cry.
